I added 8 Cory Dora’s and 16 cardinals to my Angel tank. My German Blue Pearlscales are almost as big as the Half Blacks. 119690119691119692119693

Let me know if the Angels eat the Cardinals. I'd love a school of them in my 125.

I was worried about the angels at least plucking an eye out of the cardinals, but they have totally ignored them from the get go. They are too busy fighting amongst themselves.
One of my platinum pearlscales and one of my German Blue’s have fallen for each other and the blue pearlscale stands off with the other blue pearlscale. The german blue goes after the other german blue. They barely noticed the new additions. They are very entertaining and the Cory’s are very active zipping around non stop.
I love my tank and when I think of all the possibilities I was considering (endlers, shrimp, etc.) I’m so glad I picked your angels. They are beautiful and healthy and so full of themselves! You’ve definitely turned me into an angel lover from the moment I saw those Half Blacks. The German Blues sealed the deal and I didn’t care what else I got, I just trusted you knew what I liked and the blue plats wowed me as much as the rest. I’m crazy over these fish.
The cardinals add the Cory’s are the icing on the cake. The cardinals add that bright splash of color that moves through the tank. I’m glad I got a big school of them.

Looking great Patty. I can hear your excitement in the way you wrote the post. You sound like a kid in the candy store. Very cool :)

I truly am and for someone who didn’t like angels, they are now one of my all time favorites! It’s like having my own little reality show in a tank and much better than the ones on TV imho.

Patty, remind me how large your Angelfish tank is.

It’s a 75 gallon. Why do you ask?:D

To be honest, it's a selfish question. I just counted the Angels in my only display tank. There are 14 of them, plus 9 Pearl Gouramies, plus about 6 bristle nose, plus one betta, plus I don't know how many mystery snails. They get a 60% WC once a week and they're happy and healthy. You could easily get away with another pair in your tank if you wanted. I happen to know where you can get a proven pair of Blue Silver Pearls dirt cheap.

I was about to send condolences for the ramshorn infestation before noticing it's just substrate lol. Big relief, and nice looking setup, Patty.

Thanks Al! I love them too. Right now the plat and German (Hitler) have taken over the tank. The cardinals are in 1 corner and rest of the angels are in the other. Maybe another pair will help with aggression, but I wouldn’t bet money on it!

Thanks Adam. After I took your advice and got the big sword it inspired me so I’m glad you like it! See what you started?
I have 1 assasinarion snail in there. Some snails tried to come in with a batch of plants so I put a hit out on them and they disappeared.
