I purchased some API General Cure, among other medications preemptively, to be prepared. I was reading the directions and the API General Cure mentioned that two doses were required for full treatment and that 96 hours would have to pass before any water changes. If we aren't changing the water for 4 days, should I just slow down on feeding? Thanks

If you are accustomed to doing large water changes those directions don't make much sense to me. My approach would be to dose for the full tank volume every day after a large (80%+) water change.

General cure is a mixture of two meds, metronidazole and praziquantel, and they treat different parasites. Metro is for internal flagellates and prazi is for flatworms and flukes. Also, the dose of metro in GC is probably low and 4 days is too short in duration to be very effective. Better to try and determine by symptoms which parasite you have and treat with a more specific medication and protocol.
