I got tired of raising arrowana and just started raising discus in a planted aquarium.
SeaClear 60 gal/Fluval FX4
I change 50% of water almost everyday.
Please advise if you see anything wrong.

That's a nice planted tank and cool sand waterfall. The 1st thing I see is the discus won't like is the current... pretty strong for discus.

I agree - but besides that, you also have some active, fast moving tank-mates with the discus, and that too may cause stress to the discus over time. And keep your eye on what appears to be Flying Foxes - over time as they get older, larger, and lazier, some may take a liking to discus' slime coats as part of their diet.
Fairly minor stuff, but best avoided.
On the positive side, your discus seem healthy and doing quite well at the moment, and your tank cleansing and frequent water changes are no doubt providing good water quality and conditions.
All the best to you.

P.S. Not sure if they're Flying Foxes or SAE's.

They are neither.
Can't remember the name of those fish, but they aren't algae eaters and won't have any interest in slimecoats😊

They look like Torpedo barbs and Clown fish to me.

You can also put your own rocks around them.https://www.amazon.ca/Underwater-Treasures-65381-Waterfall-Indonesian/dp/B0768F2X6M/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=sand+waterfall&qid=1552224773&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Torpedo barbs. That's correct.
I remember giving those back to my LFS as they grew very large (6"+).
The size and speed was to much for the discus.

You're right - I'm quite sue sure now that they're Silver Tip Tetras (not Barbs) and Clown Loaches - And those Tetras are too fast-moving and active for keeping with serene, slow-moving discus imo.

This is what Rose Line Torpedo Barbs look like. The Clown Loaches are wrong for a discus tank too because of the same reason the torpedo barbs and they come out at night and rome.

You're right once again. I stand corrected. You know your fish better than I do.

Thanks all for the comments.
I am in the process of removing the clown loaches and rosaline sharks. They are so damm fast to net in addition to all of the decors in the the tank that they can hide.

There are plenty of sand water fall diy on you tube. I chose to build mine with natural rocks and pebbles stones ... It took me a while to get the stones set correctly to have a continous sand fall and recyled. I used no silicones or glue.

Those barbs are sharp looking fish.I had them in with discus before and were too fast, but will make a nice centre piece shoaling fish for a 6 foot tank.

One of my tank maintenance clients has 10 Denison barbs, each 6-7", as the center piece fish in a 125gal...they're amazing, especially when they get big...but yea, I can only imagine they're way to quick fro discus...
