Opening a package of newly arrived Discus fish and pulling each bag out.....it’s like Christmas.:bounce:

Oh.....and better yet......putting the new arrivals in the display tank after QT time.

Discus happiness for me is seeing my tank of healthy happy discus and dreaming of having wilds someday. Happiness for them is scarfing down some of Al’s fdbw.

Seeing the monthly photos of Kenny's fish. Especially the ones of the fish in the bucket all facing one another. Those to me are humorous.

Yes indeed.

Putting ones face an inch from the glass and having the fish take turns slowly swimming to the glass at your face and hovering.....oh so close it is. I’ll even put my thumb on my Adam’s apple and middle finger on the glass and talk in a deep tone. They almost seem to hear, but probably only sense a different vibration. Nothing is more relaxing than watching the fish serenely glide through the water exhibiting an array of colors.

When I get home before my wife does, snag the box outside that says "live fish", put the new discus in my tank (guilty of not QT'ing... because then she would know), and when my wife asks if that's a new fish I just put my "your ridiculous"-face on and say, "Seriously? ... No"

Smuggling products and livestock through wife's customs sounds awfully familiar to me too :) .
