Hi all,
As my customers know I have several varieties of Freeze Dried Blackworms I sell..
Original Cubes
Spinach combo ( cubes)
Biopigment Plus (cubes)
Loose original
Loose with red pigment
I on occasion do run out of one variety or another. Thats the bad news. The good news is for the short term you can feed any of these and your discus will not care. The loose do not work well in tanks with over flows, and the pigmented ones should be avoided if you have albino or yellow fish as over time the can turn to orange colors.
We have had times when the Blackworm supply has gotten very scarce, These are a farmed product and things do affect that production. You really need to plan ahead. I do try and ship as soon as orders come in but if theres no stock, I can not do that no matter how much I want to. My shopping cart is usually up to date on back orders.. look to see if its out of stock. Drop me an email if you have a stock question.
A word about spinach combo verses original cubes .. These are pretty much the same thing! one just has tiny pieces of baby spinach for added nutrition. Your fish will not know the Difference. I feed these interchangeably here as do many of my customers. I have never had discus not accept the one over the other. I suppose its possible in a tiny tiny percent of discus out there but I have yet to see it. So if I am out of one, give the other a try. If for some reason you discus do not eat one or the other ..let me know, send it back and I will refund you. Easy Peezy!
Please not that I am currently out of original cubes as I am between stock orders. This is a great time to try the Spinach combo if you are in dire needs of blackworms and normally order original cubes.
Thank you all!!!!
