I'm thinking about trying Discus for the first time in a planted 125 gallon tank.

I also have several guppies and platys that have an abundance of fry.

I was hoping the Discus would "take care" of them for me but I don't know if thats a type of food they are fast enough to get, or would want to eat.

Thanks

Hello and welcome to the forum!!

The answer is yes, they will eat other fry, but my main concern is placing them with guppy's and platy's in the first place.

Please read up on the basics and especially QT procedures. This is a great place to learn and this video is a great place to start!!

I saw that, I have separate tanks for everyone.
Thanks for looking out though.
