What is the proper way to treat a fish with gill flukes and also what is the cause of the gill flukes, thank u

Prazi is the med of choice for flukes these days but there are other options as well, formalin, salt dips, PP, etc... As far as where they come from, they've always been there unless they've been 100% eradicated by the breeder. They can become an issue if their number spiral.

Best bet would be Prazi. Formalin or PP would be better than salt.. To kill flukes, salt dips is a long process of netting fish over and over each day. It takes weeks to get rid of them successfully, no matter what method you use.

How long should one wait between treatment thank u. Also how long does it take to see some results

I did my first treatment Oct 28 did a water change 40% Nov 4 and did another treatment have not really seen any results I used prazi pro. Do I need more patience
