Have anyone fed Nightcrawlers for your discus? Just curious since I feel like harvesting bloodworms might take awhile. I might also make a farm for the nightcrawlers.

I have fed nightcrawler for my catfish, you may want to go with red worms for your discus which I feed and they love them, and what fish doesn't like worms

I feed red wigglers to my fish. They are also called composting worms. I harvest the small ones.

I've never heard of farming night crawlers, but maybe it happens. If you can get a starter batch of red wigglers somewhere, you can keep a colony going in bins or buckets pretty easily. I have many. I would think night crawlers need to be chopped up?

It looks like Dan at Kazarie has retired but I've also heard good things about Uncle Jim's https://unclejimswormfarm.com/product/composting-worms/1000-red-composting-worm-mix/

Steve, I imagine night crawlers would have to be chopped because of their size...

Yes, that was part of my point. I see the OP said bloodworms in the first post. Sorry, no experience raising those. If you want to talk about raising red wigglers, then I can add. It's not hard, and you probably have someone local that could get you started.

I have blood worms show up in my mosquito larvae containers sometimes. There are never many of them but the fish see them as a great treat.

From feeding mostly FBw, I feel like my discus's color pop more and they look more active. I tried flakes they didn't like it much lol
