Opinion: pair or 2 females

Hi Everyone,
Does anybody know what I have here?
Recently one pair formed in my community discus tank, and laid the eggs twice, obviously without success .
I separated them in new breeding tank and they laid 3 times but adter during 3 days the eggs were dissapearing gradually. The red is I think red melon and is female for sure, but the brown one (red cover ) is misterious for me.
Female or male (red cover)?
Please help. Today they laid again a lot of eggs.

Best if you can get a picture of the papillae. Female and male versions are easily distinguishable. Neither one looks like a male to me, but one of them looks still immature.
