Single parent?

My dilemma is a bit of a conundrum to me, my male eats fry. Should I remove him and if so when? Can the female raise fry by herself or is this more taxing and therefore not recommended?

Take him out before the kids free swim. If he's eating wigglers take him out right after he's done doing his job. Lots of us have had single parents with our Discus. They do fine.
