Late growth spurts and streamers

I was under the impression that Discus stopped growing after 18-24 months, but after some recent observation (and a bit of heavy feeding and WCs) it seems my 3 yr old fish have gone through a late growth spurt, and now have longer streamers.

Is this anyone else’s experience as well?
