School's in session, at least for our discus schools. Our September stock is schooling away here, and will be ready to school in your home very soon. After a short quarantine period, they will be shipping out by the 21st. Here's a list of what we have in store for you. Pictures will be posted here and on our webpage after a few days of acclimation to their new (but temporary) tanks. You can order by phone or email until we get the listings up on our website.

Hi Francis, I want to give them a few more days to recover from their trip before I start taking all the pictures. But since you asked, here is picture of the Velvet Red Cover. They are in the same tanks with the Red Pandas. ... Miranda

Holyyyy Sh...... that red velvet is drop dead gorgeous! The shape , the color,... and I can see in the background that there is definitely consistency within the group!

Question on the red covers (I love them but am not an expert)...how do their colors usually change as they mature? Do they get darker red, lighter, does the blue come in? Just trying to learn!

Thanks for your time!

As far as I am aware, Red Covers retain their color throughout their lifetime. It may even get more intense, but I have not seen them adding blue tones. In this regard, they differ from Pigeon Blood based discus which tend to lose their vibrant colors over time.
