Welcome GT to the forum. Do you know which discus suppliers you are considering? This can have a bearing on what's available. When you say royal sounds like you want a fully striated fish? like a turquoise which come red or blue based.

Most of the forum sponsors have photos. I would visit each as there will be hundreds of photos of their current inventory. All are reputable and fairly priced.

In simple terms that is a red turquoise and tends to be available amongst many discus vendors. I would suggest checking out the reputation of any vendor you are considering to buy from. You want to start with healthy quality fish. Guessing you are UK based?

Ok thanks so basically the fish in the picture probably will not look like that, that why I was wondering if anyone had this strain...

I went and checked their site. The first problem I have is they show adult discus vs the 2.4 to 3 inch they claim to sale. That is a red flag for me. Better to show the actual fish you would be receiving. So I am asking a few uk based friends about this vendor.

My friend Paul (from the uk) suggest Mark Evenden and David Lai. He did not like the google reviews of the vendor Discus Fish Sales.
