Filtration Concerns

Hello all, I have a very simple question I hope. I just acquired some free aquarium equipment and I was wondering if I could use on one of my tanks. It's a canister filter with a UV rated for a tank up to 55 gallons. Can I use it on my 75 gallon along with some other filtration or should I try and sell it so I could buy one rated for my tank? Jim in Ohio Oh by the way my other filtration is a HOB penguin rated for 90 gallons.

Isn't a problem mixing different filter capacities Jim, so long as the overall total is adequate for the tank size.
