Only have used it in foods already containing Astaxanthin. Seems to me they are both the same thing. C.Pink being man made from Astaxanthin. I would go with the natural one found in shrimp and salmon skins, algae ect. I know this doesn't answer the question.

Thanks.. I have both. And testing 2 different tank with oscar fish.. So will update soon that results
