I posted about this first in the breeding forum but since this is not "intentional" breeding I'm not sure it was the right fit.
In our 80 gallon, we have 6 adult discus, many cardinals, cories, a few ottos, a large (self-sustaining) population from the cherry shrimp family, nerite snails. Also two SAEs.
Two of the discus have paired off and are, so far, successfully raising a small (~17) crop of fry.
It is quite a sight to see the behavior this involves. In general, in the photos, the pairs territory is the front-right of the tank (in front of the wood).
