I posted that I visited Alex at Bay Area Discus last month and showed some of his fish. What I didn't post then was what I got. Alex is spawning his own stuff and I scored a young spawn of Angel Blue Diamonds!

If you know Blue Diamonds, you can tell these are Wayne Ng stock by the shape of their foreheads. (I asked and Alex confirmed the pedigree.)
They arrived, in carry on luggage, to my fish room exactly one month ago. (Alex said they were 5 weeks old at the time.) Moving young discus can be a little touchy so there was no guarantee of success. I've lost ~15% over the three weeks, and still see one with a short gill plate and a few that are not swimming well. Still, if even half of them make it, I should be able to find some beauties.
