hey guys, so I'm back with discus after a long break, and I still keep some discus dry food from before, some of them are the sera discus granulate, d50 plus, tetra discus pro, discusfood and they are already expired, from 6-12 months. Can I still give them to my discus or should I buy new ones? I have kept them in a fresh cold place without any kind of sun light

Me, I'd feed them but it's one of those things that is simply up to you.

From what I read…. In general, expired foods are okay to feed your fish. However, fish needs several nutrients to be healthy and reach the optimal size. But when your fish foods are expired, it causes to lose the nutrients that include in the foods. Therefore, if you feed your fish on expired foods, your fish do not collect the required nutrients from them. It can be caused to reduce the health condition of the fish.

In another post you say your fish are not eating good. Maybe try some fresh new food.
