God knows how many times I've changed out my RO membrane over the years. I have always put it back together without a problem. This time I obviously put it back together somehow backaswards so now I am getting no water out of the thing at all. The Red line goes from the tap to the booster pump to the filters. The White line is product water. The Black line is waste. I will be forever in the debt of anyone who can tell me what I did wrong and what should go where. A pic of one done right would be a great help because in many things I'm slower in the head than most.

It's always confusing to me as well but i can tell you that my RO water exits the rounded end of the membrane housing and the waste water from the larger squared off end. Am I correct in seeing your TDS meter attached to the larger squared off end? Is that your RO water?

Did you put the RO membrane in backwards Liz?

Brian, I'll look at that more carefully in the morning when I'm fresh and am over my disgust with myself in screwing up something I don't know how many times I've done before. I can't do it in mood I'm in right now.

Pat, I know well that I can be extremely thick but I promise you. I did not put it in backwards. I'll check tomorrow just for the hell of it.

Brian, my internet has been out so I called and now it has been fixed :D:D I've been wanting to thank you with all my heart for suggesting a possible fix for my RO unit. I switched 2 of the white lines and poof! Suddenly I'm making water again. I am so relived.

I hope that the people who don't have to use RO understand that "making water" is has a different meaning with the people who need to use an RO system. Normal folks think of making water as something totally different...

Thanks again. You have saved the day for my pairs.
