I have three discus tanks and a planted community tank (non discus).
Rarely, but once in a while, I might have to share equipment between one or another tank. Net's, algae scrapper. What's a good way to disinfect equipment?
Some shops I have been in, or YouTube clips, I have seen nets in buckles of something obviously "medicinal" Does anyone know what this might be?
Thanks,
John

I've used Jungle Net Soak Cleaner. It works fine. It says rinsing isn't necessary but I do so anyways. I also hang dry my nets.

The blue stuff in the buckets where they keep their nets is formalin & malachite green.

I've tried using a net disinfectant and it's just a messy deal. Far easier to get separates nets for each tank and just let them dry out between uses.

I agree with Willie, a separate net for each tank works out best. I even have separate
siphons for each tank.
