So I have a Discus that had hex pretty bad. Cured the Hexamita. Then it got a bad case of fin rot and was really pail. treated with all the over the counter stuff in Canada didn't touch the fin rot at all. So I stepped it up to doxy, totally did the trick.
He still has some lasting issues though... bent tail. and he poops sand... discus diarrhea . not a single formed normal fish poop to date. His eating and activity are good just a little under weight.
ill attach some pictures.
Question is, when would you return him to gen pop. he's been in QT for 3 months now. Eating well and no fin rot for 4 weeks. Also what are the odds of this being the dreaded fish TB, never had any lesions just the bent tail seams odd.

first is before the doxy and second photo was last week.

Let him back in gen pop, or at least add a hero fish/sacrificial lamb and see how things go for a week?

No comment about moving him back, but just wanted to say that's a pretty cool transformation. Beautiful and he looks like he's got a story to tell :)

More likely stuff is hard to find and he'd be glad to know. Send him a PM if you like.

lol, I was kidding. Bluelagoon can Pm if he wants some info. but most of what I get just comes off of e-bay. There's a few sellers that still ship to Canada. and i have had nothing get held up in customs.
