Albino Red Cover

Hi, has anyone ever had this happen to them. I have an albino red cover and is a very nice red with a lovely white halo, but in the light it goes virtually white. Turn the lights off and red again. My lights are not particularly bright and all the other discus have always seemed fine with it, Dora anyone know if this is a trait in albino discus?
