Hello Everyone,

I've been keeping fish off-and-on for a few decades now, and steadily for the last 10 years or so.

I've kept lots of different types of fish, and am looking into keeping discus. I'm going to post another thread in a different sub-forum asking for some advice.

Looking forward to learning from you all here.

Thank you.

Hi MNGuy and welcome to Simply. There's lots of resources to learn from here on the forum. I would suggest starting with the Discus-Basics-for-Beginners (http://forum.simplydiscus.com/forumdisplay.php?48-Discus-Basics-for-Beginners) and read thru some of the sticky threads. A good starting point is here http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?122038-Are-you-new-to-discus-WATCH-THIS-VIDEO! and watch the video in the first post. This video present Al who is the owner of Simply and he will give you a starting point for learning about discus. One other important thing is discus are different then other fish.
Happy Learning,
Pat
