Ques 1- I have 5, 4.5 mt. old juvies who I feed 6 times per day , pellets alternating with fdbw. How many cubes of fdbw's
should I feed them? They seem that they could eat them all day.
Ques 2-Do discus put on a growth spurt and then slow down? These 4.5 month old fish are about 3-3/4 in. now and seemed to have slowed down.

When I had 10x 2.5" they were eating 3 or 4 beefheart cubes and probably six or more FDBlkW cubes per day. They did slow down as they got bigger. At 5" they almost paused it seemed like. They they're still growing, just slowly.

They were bottomless pits and I never wanted them to go hungry.

They do slow down but can pick it back up after a slow period, too. You can feed more, as long as your maintenance keeps up.
