Hello all,
Having been away a bit I am trying to gauge forum viewing. Looking at whose on line doesn't tell me anything about who uses the forum for information when they are viewing as guests. Bots and spammers cloud that. I know from my communications with my freeze dried blackworm customers that many people read here but dont generally post.Thats fine, Im glad the forum is a useful resource still, though more posts and content generation are very important to a discussion forum.

It would be great if you do use the forum in any capacity to give a shout out here in this thread.. That might mean you have to register to post but thats not a difficult thing to do. SOoooo... how about it? A moment or two is alls it takes to make post.

Thank you!
Al

I spend a lot more time lurking and reading content than creating content, but I'm usually around at least once or twice a day :D

Still, by far, the best source on the internet. Facebook groups are synonymous to the guys who get sick, googles his symptoms and then goes to his doctor and tells him his Google diagnosis. Wrong 80 percent of the time.

Love this site.

I retired five years ago and I check the forum every day since then. I bought some nickel size discus; they were on my bucket list and i finally had time to work with them. I did get one pair (RIP) from them and successfully raised some of the fry.

Hey Al-
I used the forum extensively when I first got into discus and check in occasionally now. I buy your FDBW as well. Your talk in discus by the DIY guy on you tube is fantastic.

Agreed re: Al's talk. I think that was what really helped push me over the edge to realize if I was going to do it, I should do it right. There's a "discus question" thread over on another forum and some of the pictures are really... discouraging.

There was a guy talking about how he hasn't changed water in weeks posting these fish... :(

Hi Al and fellow forum members!!!

I’m an occasional viewer, usually more when I get new fish…lol
The content here is great, and as many have said your video on the tube with the intro from Joey has been a staple in my discus keeping. Life gets busy for me real quick in my business of choice, but I love popping in from time to time to see what’s new.

I have a new group from Hans Discus USA that I’m getting used to my water and will like my past group of discus be feeding them your freeze dried black worms. Thanks for all you do for this Hobby my friend.

As some of you will recognize, I'm new to the site, and the hobby by way of inheritance of 3 tanks, one discus tank.
The group and post history has been extremely valuable.
I intend on researching and growing in the hobby with all the great info modernly archived here.
Thanks to all our moderators and admins for all you do for this great hobby.

Yup you’re on the money, my thoughts exactly. That wild look without being wild. I’m hoping to not have that same maintenance schedule that I previously had with my wilds! We shall see, I’ll be updating regularly!

Hey Greg, we're having issues with the email system at this time. I'm sure it will be fixed in time, but if you go to the top and click "What's New?" it'll show you all new posts since the last time you visited.
