I have 5 discus in a 50 Gal tank. I got them from Liz on Sept 20 AT 6-1/2 weeks old.
I have been doing 95% plus w/c every day. When I received them they were nickle to quarter size, now
now they are 4-1/4 to almost 5 in. I feed them 4 to 6 times a day alternating fdw and pellets.
Question- does this seem to an a bit excessive amount of w/c.
They are healthy and active , even attack my fingers when I put fdbw against the glass.
Leave well enough alone?
Jay

Never too much! Unless you remove all the water :). Let’s see some pics!

To be honest, I don't think it would do any har. If you were t cut down to 50 percent

Wow! That sounds like crazy growth to me, a Discus neophyte! Is that normal??
It would be great if you could post some pics, then & now?

I really don't know if this is normal. All I know I bought good stock from Liz and I'm giving them the best care I can.
Maybe some others on the forum can comment on that,
