What a cool set of pics Pat. I have to wonder if they saw a parent do that behavior at some point .. maybe when caterpillars were on a plant or if the plant moving in a breeze reminded them of a moth.

Not sure Al but could be instinct or even a mix of both. Even before these little guys are flying they are taste testing everything. Plus they practice pouncing on objects, picking up objects with their feet. Basically learning life lessons as best I can tell. They are cute, funny and very entertaining to watch. :D
