One of my hobbies is botany, and I really enjoy learning about the various edible wild plants . I decided I would start documenting them here. Obviously please do not eat anything out there that you are not 100% sure is safe. To start this off I have here an edible Mushroom. Mushrooms in the wild range from inedible to edible but yuck, to edible good and edible choice...choice meaning that one is awesome. And of course there are the ones that will mess you up in a bad way, or kill you.
I came across this Dryad’s Saddle (Cerioporus squamosus) the other day in Haddam CT ... unfortunately I could not collect it at the time!
