Discus coloration

How old or large do discus need to be to show their true colors? Thanks! Steve

Steve, Welcome to SimplyDiscus!

Its going to vary for the different strains...but some do not show their full color until they reach breeding age...especially the reds.

an average for Blues is probably 6months to a year.
