The next two pictures are of some of my wild red spotted greens. Is there anybody with pictures of ocean greens?

The only photos of ocean green I have come across are on Jack Wattley's site. Maybe he could send you more recent pics.
I can relate guys, I really want some GREEN (colored) discus. I'm going for a colorful display tank, and would love to know where to get a hold of greens. Got the blue, got the red, the yellow, now show me the GREEN!  :)

I hear that, Green Diamond or Royal Green is my next strain, that and the Sans Merahs. I think I saw some greens on Universal Discus and also on Sunrise Tropicals sites. Also Enchanted Discus has some advertised but not sure about availability.

Hi there,
I am also on to the persute of Green Discus, I have been told by a few differant breeder's that Ocean Green Discus are actually a Blue Diamond with some green scaling and their pictures are taken with a yellow light to make them appear more Green , I hope that help's.
I also came across a Discus that is pretty green, it is a German Green, I picked one up two week's ago; they have a bit of straitation in thier body but boy is it Green. Good luck on your search.Oh ya I picked mine up from Duncan Watt's at northweatcoastdiscus.

I have a pair of greens, they are green. I don't have them under any special light, just a cheap kitchen fluorescent fixture.

Barb,

I've always loved your greens. If you are still getting babies out of them I would love to get some from you someday. :)

Thanks for posting!

Thanks Ryan and Karen! :)

Ryan, my male has had an infection over his eye (last fry he raised ate him raw). It is finally (after months) clearing up, he's doing much better and hopefully will spawn again. He and his female are checking the pot out and doing their dance.

Oh that's right Barb, I remember hearing about that. :'(

I'm glad he's starting to come around for you. Good males are worth their weight in gold. Especially ones as beautiful as your Green!

Hi everyone,

I have some Germany Greens. They are really awesome. They show TRUE green colors not as blue colors.

hemi cuda, I am very glad you are very pleasured with those fish.

I got the Germany greens from Mr Ting. He told me about the germany green would be solid green in adult size,

I am going keep the dozen of Germany greens for breed pairs in the future.

But the way I want to have ocean greens from Barb Newell, She has great stuff ocean greens in my hatchery because I would love to cross breed the green colors.
