I came across a filter today that looks interesting. It is round tube cartridge that fits on the bottom of a powerhead. It is called the "Quick Filter" and I wonder if anyone has tried it. I am thinking of using it instead of a sponge filter. Any opinions welcome.

:bounce2: :bounce2: I have one too. Use it as an extra for the QT or a 20g when I need some current along with my sponge filters. I love those sponge filters tho, use them as primary, this type is ok to add in. It is easy to use & clean & I had lotsa powerheads too, so its useful in an emergency. Dottie ;D ;D ;D ;D

You can stick the input of the powerhead into the sponge filter. cloudy water will clear up in no time. The most effective filter.
