Don't quote me on it, but I thought I heard that Al @ rockymountain Discus breed plecos?

Hey Dan,

You are in L.A., there's a wholesaler/importer of exotic plecos in El Monte..It's Kokaho Aquarium...they have some nice discus too. I heard this from a friend of mine who lives in South Pasadena..go check it out. Here's the address info:

Dan,

There is only one problem with having plecos in your discus tank. Most can't take the heat of a discus tank for very long.

I would try to get some golden nugget plecos. I have 2 of them in my discus tank and I keep the temp. at around 86. Have never had any problems.

Queen Arabesque and zebra plecos work well. Carnivorous, so leftover food will be theres :)
