My first pair is now consistantly getting the spawn to the swimmer stage; but, the swimmers are not feeding off of the parents and the parents are not visably sliming up. My PH is 6.8-7, GH 8, conductivity is 335.
I have been lowering the water in the tank to no avail.
The male is a PB and the female is a young red snakeskin.
I realize PBs have a rep as poor slimers.
Will lowering the PH help the parents slime?
