Hi, as promised here is one picture of one of the blue diamonds that Cary sent me (more on the way). I am really trying to get good pics of the rest and will post as soon as I get them. I don't have a digital camera so am needing to learn how to get pics with my Yashica manual 35mm - everything is manual, aperture, shutter speed and focus
(I NEED A DIGITAL!!!!) This pic doesn't do him justice, he is spectacular and much more beautiful. He's the king of the tank, very strong, very healthy. He's approx 5 - 6" (tail incl) and eats like there is no tomorrow. Will post more soon.
AS FOR CARY.. thanks again Cary. You're one great guy. You've been so helpful, supportive, patient and a good friend. You're helping me get past all of the insecurities and fears around giving this hobby another try.

Hi Barb:
That's a good picture for a regular camera. Lol, I usually take about 20 or 30 to get a good one. He looks very healthy, you are feeding him well.

Barb,

After all the trouble you had in the past, this you deserve! He is such a beauty. I just love BD's.
Heck imo you are doing great with the 35mm. I would save the $$ and get more fishies. ;)

Post more please....

I loaned the pic out to a friend who was going to scan it for me, she has misplaced it >:(. I'm having a print made, it will be ready on Sunday. I'll post it. It's a pic of the two blue diamonds together, quite spectacular.

You can see that this youngster is round. It's body (not including the fins) is about as tall as it is long. It will keep this shape as it matures.

I've noticed with my babies that even as they grow they basically keep the same proportions. Do you see that too, Cary?
