here's a shot of a baby from the contest pair. They're 3 + months now and all different sizes. I need more practise on keeping them the same size. Most are starting to color up now.

Hey Carol:

you are doing a great job!! they look so pretty...I cant wait till my grows to that size. Do you have a picture of the parents?

i havent gotten past the wiggler stage yet with these young guys..but hopefully. its only their second spawn so not too bad..

HI Scot:

I have about 25 babies left. (The nicest ones) Any of you guys are welcome to stop by and pick some up. I would have to drive 1 1/2 hours to the nearest airport and it would take more than 24 hours for airborne express to deliver as I'm in an outlying area.

I didn't have that pair spawn again. I have another of my red turk females with the male (she hates him) And a big golden PB with the female (she loves him). See picture below

They look terrific Carol! Maybe some of the smaller ones are the females? I think if their bodies and eyes are proportional you should hang on to a few of the smaller ones. I'm seeing the same with my batch, essentially three different sizes, but none seem to be out of proportion. I'll have to dig out the camera soon. How are their eyes coloring up?

Predominately red eyes. The two biggest ones (who look like twins) both have amber eyes, darn!

Love the tank decor too.... so much for the plain black backdrops....

What is your cone??? That aint a 3 inch PVC pipe....
