I just set up my discus tank a different way. Got rid of the gravel but kept some plants in pots (rootfeeders for the most part). The best of both worlds (I hope).

Hey that is a cute pair of gold rams (or r they blue rams?). Love them. Used to have a pair.

Do you know if they are salt sensitive?

Are those Bolivian Rams in there?

I like how you've got your tank set up. Every good fish deserves an equally good plant and it's a very nice compromise.

Those are Bolivian Rams.... nice colour, and they live quite peacefully with the discus.

I don't know how they handle salt as I have only recently started adding to this tank but so far so good!
