Hi all well this is there 7th spawn. It looks like they both are doing there jobs this time,(dang lazy male may get it right)Will keep ya posted on there progress. They started spawing at 8:15pm so they've been at it 35 mins now. T plus or minus 72 hrs and counting down !!!! :)

On the topic of formaldehyde, some expert breeders say it may effect future spawns and don't recommend using it.
Any thoughts on this reasoning ???

That is crapola! trust me. I never seen or heard such a thing you sure your breeder is a expert and not just trash talking?


Ron 1 drop per gal after eggs are layed thats it!

Thanks all, Cary I did add a half dose of blue about 6 hrs after spawn. Then last night I got some MarOxy and added 1 1/2 teaspoons of it. Again thanks all :)

HOT DAMN FRANK !!! You were right at 9am 60 hrs into this we have our first WIGGLERS YEEEEPPPEEEEE!!!!!!! I think my wife will name them all lol ohhh myyy!! OH let me tell you about water conditions before spawn during and as of now it's all the same conductivity 85/ms PH 6.2 water temp 83 deg will keep posting pics of there progress as fishies and our progress of figuring this whole process out!!! FINGERS CROSSED !! :)
