I see green algea in the tank (on the UG pipes). Is it long time since U cleaned them :P.

hi all,
was a bit busy these days, so sorry for replying so late.

timiddiscus,
i am using small CFL white lights all around the tank, approx 12
three 2 foot tubes in the middle. 2 white light and one yellow light (called sunlight/ true light in india.

hi discindian,
they are not the UG pipes, but they are customised EHEIM pro2 pipes.

i let the algae grow on the back of the tank to control nitrates and for a more natural look of the tank and also i have seen the discus eat the algae.
btw, i change 50% water daily, clean the gravel every week, so i dont think that i should face any trouble. ;D

the tank is approx 6 feet. filtered by 2 eheim 2028.
lighting i have already mentioned.
w/c and other things also mentioned.

the fish are approx 1.5 years and majority above 5 inches. hope they will grow more. ;D
