Does anybody know if i can run a aqua clear 300 on a 29 gallon tank with a breeding pair in it. Or should i just use a sponge filter. Iam going to start small with a few tanks. Will the aqua clear suck in the fry. And would any body know where i could get a good, cheap pair of discus.

Running the AC should be fine. However, when the fry first hatch you'll probably want to shut it down in favor of the sponge filter so the fry can find their parents easier (due to the less amount of current). Hope that helps.
