These are the parent's of my GS babies that are now 30 day's old. These eggs will hatch out later tonight or Monday morning 12/30/2002 The reason they are separate is because he is very mean to her once the egg laying process is over. These are 12 hour old wigglers now.

no,
he has an online host that only allows him a certain amount of bandwidth each day. Once it has been exceeded, no one can see the pics.

Your Golden Sunrise looks like my Red Crystal. Any commends?

Well, you call it red crystal because it was fed with red enhancer. Looks more like Golden pigeon to me. Overall, good quality fish, keep up the good work.

John,

Thanks. This is David Lim - Fishio discus. I was told it is a Red Crystal. If were to give Red Enhancer, it will be Super Red ....... Anyway, you have very nice Red Melon. Will you offer for sales?????

George. which one did you leave with the eggs?
the female?
as i had a male do the same thing. i took him out and put him in the tank next door so he could see.. but she ate the kids when they went free swimming.
hes pushy with her also to get her to lay. i was wondering if i shouldve let him tend the eggs. did both parents look after the fry once free swimming?

April the male tends to the eggs. He is very rough on the female after she has finnished laying the eggs. After the fry become free swimming they will go thru the egg crate and she is a good Mom. At the end of 7 days I found that I can remove the divider and everything is OK

I have a few like those too, very nice fish. Mine are still young...

Here's pics of one of my red crystals...note, they are a little bit lighter now because I do not colour feed and both their faces are completely white...I'll post new pics soon.

The babies from the Golden Sunrise average 2 inches and I have 50 of those and the 109 Blue Diamonds are at the 1 inch stage. The Blue Diamonds are on there third set of fry almost. The second set of babies I only have 30 of them and the next set of eggs should hatch Sunday evening or Monday morning. I will get some pictures taken next week. My brother has the camera
