Ray the first thing that needs to happen so they don't fungus is to have a male that is mature enough to fertilize the eggs. Second the water has to be perfectly clean, I do a 90-100 % water change when I see them cleaning the cone and the spawning tubes have dropped. Third shut off all water movement in the tank, no air. Let them spawn and after 30 minutes when they are done turn the air back on. When i do this I also add 2 drops per gallon of FORMALIN to the water. Sit back and see what happens. Here is a picture of wigglers that hatched Monday morning. I also have Blue Diamond and Oriental Lepoards wigglers this morning also.

Methylene Blue may also be used a 1 drop/gallon to stop fungus.
