Hi all!
Anyone have any suggestions for cleaning PVC before using it in a breeding tank?
Just wondering if I should do more than rinsing it off with hot water.
Thanks for any input,
RandalB
I sanded mine down a little with 300-600 grit paper using water. This takes off anything on the outside and givies it a nice color. I doubt it's necessary, but it takes away all that writing and discoloration on it and I feel better that it's clean.

When it is new I just wash it with a mild bleach solution, after that it is up to the fish to clean it.

Thanks Guys,
I'm tired of my pair laying on the glass so I am going to try the old PVC pipe trick. Just wanted to make sure of how to clean it before I put it in the tank.
Thanks again,
RandalB
