And for all the computer geeks out there. http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/j0/type.gif

http://www.vnunet.com/quiz/geeko.jsp

Lets see how good you are. Be honest on the outcome now. You can even print a certificate http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/b0/deal.gif when completed with the quiz. Believe me they are very comical.

OK.. Here is my Certificate... :P
Official Certificate of Geekiness

This is to certify that Julz has been tested in the fire of the Geek-o-meter and has shown her class in achieving the brilliant Geek Rating of 54%. Accordingly she has been awarded the following accolade...

"Is there any better place to be than just above half way? Yes, there is, Ms. Tediously Average! There's nothing so dull as middle-of-the-road mediocrity, and that's you, all right, and it's nothing to be proud of. You've either spent an unhealthy amount of time forcing your inadequate intellect to understand the little you know, or you've settled for knowing the minimum you could get away with, you lazy git."

:(

Here you go, my dear...

April

hee hee. im not a geek at all. lol. there shouldve been another choice saying....i have no idea!! then i wouldve gotten zero!

You are 38% geek

You are certainly no computer expert, but you can probably tell a keyboard from a mouse almost instantly. Hone those skills, learn to use Word and maybe even investigate email. Who knows, it might come in useful if you ever manage to get a job.

01-07-2003, 08:34 PM
lol Pril. I only got as far as I did because I kept asking myself at every question..... "Now what would Ryan's answer be?" ;D

I would say by looking at your score Ryan, I came real close. So, when do you do your laundry, Ryan? lol Hmmm lemme guess.....

8)

Go ahead Julz, take a guess :) Also guess my answer for who I share my bed with... that was a funny question.

Sorry Guys,
I am the Alpha Geek so far....

Amazing how close to accurate this is....

BTW I also do computers when I'm not building RO units and doing W/C's

LOL ;D

Randal, hit refresh and do the quiz again. It gives you different questions each time. So far I've gotten three different scores. There's some Star Trek questions, computer questions, math nerd questions, etc. I got April's message and your message on second and third tries, respectively. A couple of the questions are repeated, but there are new ones.

So I guess there are varying levels of nerdiness depending on what kind of stuff you're into. I do computer stuff but suck at math and I am *not* a Star Trek fan. hehe..

Ryan... Heck you are bold. I didn't dare try the quiz more than once. lol

The answer to the questions?
Your mother... and
Your Cat..... http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/u/heykitty.gif

How did I do?

Randal. Oh Geeze I have a total different opinion of you now.... Definitely not http://smilies.sofrayt.com/%5E/u/cop.gif...

;D

01-07-2003, 11:13 PM
Maybe that is where I went wrong on the other, what 11%?

I could have sworn you were cleaner than that, and really didn't see the laptop question.... :-\

Tell me about it... Julz was wanting me to score high like it was a good thing... I tried to pick the most "un-geekish" answers I could, and I still got higher than she did :( Oh well, some of us are just destined to be one...

Ryan

01-08-2003, 12:33 AM
lol Pril. I only got as far as I did because I kept asking myself at every question..... "Now what would Ryan's answer be?" ;D

Wrong answer Ry..... I barely know where the keys are. No geek wannabe here. :P

That was fun Julz! I love tests.

I fared about the same as RandalB

You are 71% geek

You're on a particularly useless cusp known as "being a bit of a nerd". Nobody really trusts what you say about computers, but at the same time, they keep asking you really annoying questions that they could answer for themselves if they just spent five minutes thinking about it. You also have to spend a lot of time not

Carol :heart1:

01-08-2003, 02:50 AM
Oh fun Carol... Good to see you enjoyed it, I will have to pull a bit more just for you... :)

Beth said she took it too, but didn't reveal her standings.. hmmmm Come on Beth. :-\ You are the only female Mod left, besides Weezy but we all know she is 100% so doesn't count.... lol

"You are practically computer-literate, in an almost real sense. This could be a good thing, or a bad thing, depending on whether you use your knowledge for good or for ill. Looking at your answers, I'd almost certainly say it was a bad thing."

Being the official certificate pertaining to the Geekiness of the holder, and inasmuch as this is a valid document, may be said to represent the holder's nerdosity or nerditude. This verisimillitude of this document is certified by the vnunet society of Geeks.

I didn't get a certificate.
It just says.....

Your Geek rating is irrelevant....
Its not how much of a geek you are that you should be worrying about.I'd be more than slightly concerned about your deep-seated psychotic tendencies.Have you forgotten to take your medication? If so,go and take it.And dont stop to listen to any voices on the way.If you're not on medication,I'd consider a long course of psychiatric treatment in a secure institution......
