Hi,

I recently buy another 10 fries (RSGxleopard snake). They are only 1 month old. I feed them with Brine Shrimp now. I heard that the RSG stop growth easily at 3-inch size when the water condition is not right. What is the criteria for RSG? Could someone please help me. Thanks.

I make my mind on not to buy any discus now because I have 30 fries and 14 adults now. That will be plenty enough for an amature like me. More tanks would spoil the fun of keeping discus but hard work. I hope I can do what I just typed every time I go to the LFS.

To get the full effect of what ever spots the fish is genetically able to develop feed a diet high in "red" pigments like axastanthin.

I would seriously think of feeding your 1 month old fry something with more crude protien then brine shrimp. ;) They sould already be eating a verity of frozen and dry foods.

Cary, Thanks for the links. Carophyll Yellow is not used much. All of the Carophyll are expensive. For yellow, Marygold petals will do the same thing for much less investment. Joe ;)
