I have 8 new wilds that have been quaranteened since dec.25. I have been hearing about people treating new wilds with a whole regimen of medications before introducing them into the population. All the fish are doing well. .........Should I treat them for flukes, worms & hex or should I let them be?
Hi Jim,
IMO The first thing I would do for Wilds would be fluebendazole or Levamisole for Capillaria. its very commen in wild Discus. ;D ;D ;D

All my wild discus receive an initial salt treatment for nicks and scrapes, then observation, then prazi for flukes and tapeworms, then Panacur for Capillaria and other round worms. I don't necessarily use metro then, but I do perform a metro round to all fish every so often (twice/year?).
Good luck, Francisco.
