Large eyes and unproportional size: genetics or environment?

Hello all.

I'm curious about something and perhaps you good simeritans can shed some light into this.

My question is, are large eyes and unappropriate body/fin size more prevalence among certain strains vs others?

Or are these conditions mainly due to bad food, bad environment, being picked on, etc...?

If you have culls, can you state which strains they are and what conditions they were in (water, food, and how many others with them, tank size, etc...)

Second question, those that are stunted, will they or can they grow up to be well rounded fish (say if the stunting has only been a month)? If yes, is there a point/time frame that stunted fish won't be able to grow out nicely?

Have anyone had success in growing beautiful round fish from their culls??

If yes, how long was it a cull?

Both would be the cause but not allways together sometimes each Condition alone will cause this.

You will see some people turn a frog into a prince.

While Others work very hard just to turn a tadpole into a Frog.

Was that to Deep? LOL
