Pink and Pepper

After reading Brews post " Watts going on here " I decided to insulate the tank. At home depot they did not have any blue styrofoam sheets and so I bought one of those light pink Owen Corning sheets that I'm going to cut to size. I know a lot of people use the blue background to help with peppering, I was wondering if anyones seen similar soothing effects with other colors like light pink or green

Home Depot has 4'x2' 1/2" white styrofoam sheets. Has worked great for me so far.

Hi Chris....

I bought the pink insulation board before Hurricane Isadore and I haven't had any problems with my fish being jumpy ;) The pink also looks like it brings out the colour on my fish. I think as long as the background colour is light it should help hide some of the peppering.

For what its worth, the pink insulation can be found at Home Depot and the blue can be found at Lowes.

I doubt the color makes any difference to the discus. Just your personal tast. But don't ask me to decide which look better, I still get from my wife..."you wore that to work" :-[ :o
