Peat use???

Any of you guys can answer that question. Let's say I have aged water(stable water). Peat being put in, ph and hardness drops. Peat taken out, WILL THE WATER STAY MODIFIED OR GO BACK TO IT'S ORIGINAL STATE????All above without any water changes. Same water.

The wording of some of your questions is confusing. If you age your water in a holding tank and lower the ph and hardness with peat. When you remove the peat the water will stay modified. The ph might go up a little, but not to where it was from the tap. We are talking about a holding tank, not a fish tank.

This question has nothing to do with fish. Just water question. So, you say the ph will go up a little bit. Thanks.
