Here is a picture of one of the wilds that I purchased from Oliver Lucanus. I have had them for one month as of tomorrow. I take a lot of pictures but with the camera I own most are not worth showing but ever once inawhile one will sit still long enough. This guy was just too full to move. Mention earhtworm and you have their attention... ;D

Oliver called it a Nhumunda but that is just the river. I am not sure if it is a brown, blue, green or pink................ ;D

Very nice. That is a blue discus. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable would confirm this.
Cheers, Francisco.

Is it really? This thing just doesn't move........... ;D. He sits in the same spot and waits for me or my daughter to come down the stairs and then acts hysterical as if he hasn't been feed for a month. He is a great con artist, he could be bloated with food but act like he isn't. I wonder if this is a wild trait...............not knowing when they are going to eat next?

Let me add a couple of Oliver's fish. This is a curipera and I never expect they will turn out like that. Twice as red as I expected.

Another one is a new fish. Just start coloring up. Check the patterns on Operculum with an inverted letter"C" and a 45 degree line. They are identical for all Curipera.

Have you seen a yellow face Heckel? These are Madeira Heckel. Multi-color fish.

Jimmy : they are totally different than my heckles. I will try to post some pics tonight.
Great fish by the way. I love the curiperas.

Jim: I was the first person who picked them. I picked 2 yellow and 2 red. They look different. That's why Oliver doesn't think much about them. See the one besides the Curipera with a Paranha bite marks on anal fin. He's Madeira red Heckel from the same tank.

I REALLY like the yellow color in your first pic. It's looking like Ron and I may have to put you on our "road trip" list ;D
Then we'll swing by Jimmy L's on the way home :) ;) :D
