What is the maximum number of spawning?

Hi,

My browns spawned again this afternoon and I decided not to bother them. When I browse the Chinese discus web site and see a post saying that his male RSG was dead because of spawning too many times continuously. Do you have any idea what will be the safe limit for them to breed? My female brown almost eat nothing and just want to reproduce though she had not succeeded yet. I am afraid she gets weak without any sign. The other question is that I heard the actual spawning times for female would be 22-25 times in average.(If the eggs are not hatched then the number would be more than 25.) Is it true?

Let them spawn as much as they want. They will stop for a break when they want. I have had them lay eggs every 11 days for 6 months and then stop for 2 months and start again. I would love to know how he diagnosed that his fish died from spraying eggs with sperm. Come on alot of this is common sense.
